The “New Horizons” Commemorative Conference will be held on September 8, 2025 to celebrate 25 years of CIIMAR contributions in marine and environmental sciences.
This event will celebrate CIIMAR’s contributions and achievements over its 25 years of existence.
The commemorative conference, under the motto “New Horizons”, will bring together members of government, the scientific and academic community, industry, policy-makers and esteemed members of civil society to celebrate the scientific advances made and discuss future challenges in the field of marine and environmental sciences.
Program
The program will include speeches by experts, moments to share the discoveries of the last two and a half decades, and reflections on science for the coming decades.
